How do you get there from Hayling Island?

Drive north over Hayling Bridge towards Havant, then follow the A27 east toward Chichester and on toward Arundel. Brown tourism signs help on the final approach into the town.

Town-centre parking is limited on busy days; car-park locations and charges change — check Visit Arundel / Arun District Council parking information before you travel rather than relying on an old figure. By public transport, the usual pattern is bus or train connections via Havant / Chichester toward Arundel station, then a walk or short local hop into town. Partly. The castle interiors (when open), the cathedral and the town’s cafes make a workable wet day, and WWT has indoor spaces too — always check same-day opening. If the skies clear instead, the riverside and wetlands are the outdoor payoff before driving home.
