How do you get there from Hayling Island?

Drive east over Hayling Bridge, join the A27 towards Chichester and follow signs for the city centre. Several car parks sit around the ring road and within walking distance of the cathedral — charges and locations change, so check the council's parking pages before you travel rather than relying on an old figure.

By public transport, the usual pattern is train or bus to Havant, then a short onward train or bus to Chichester. Connections and frequencies change — check current timetables before you commit to a day without the car.

What can you see in Chichester?
