Using this website

This site describes Wittering Sands, a four-bedroom holiday house at 14 Wittering Road, Hayling Island, PO11 9SP. We keep the information here as accurate as we can, but details such as local opening times, transport and beach facilities change — please confirm anything that matters to your plans directly with the operator concerned.

Photography and content

Photographs, text and design on this site belong to Wittering Sands and may not be reused without permission.

Bookings

• The house is let on an exclusive-use, whole-house basis for up to nine guests.
• A booking is only confirmed once we have confirmed it in writing.
• Rates, deposits, payment schedule and cancellation terms are set out at the time of booking and form part of your booking contract.
• Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am unless agreed otherwise.

House rules

• No parties or events without prior written agreement.
• Dogs are welcome, kept off the beds and sofas. There is a boot brush by the back door.
• Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay.
• The number of guests staying must not exceed the number agreed at booking.

Liability

Guests use the house, garden, shoreline and any equipment at their own risk. The tidal water at Sandy Point is fast-moving; please supervise children and non-swimmers. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
